In 2012, alongside two incredible women, Janice Boyett and Alex Powell, I founded Connecting Neighbourhoods Community Interest Company. Lee Martin-Thorpe joined the team in 2015.

Early on in the formation of the company, we were lucky enough to receive our first commission, from Bromford Housing Association. Our brief was to deliver a community engagement project for families in Stechford, Birmingham. You can find out more about the project we delivered at ‘Our Projects’.

Since that first project, we have had the privilege to work with some pretty fantastic and inspiring people, groups and organisations across Birmingham, Worcestershire and beyond – delivering work we are truly passionate about.

We pride ourselves as an organisation in our ability to enable creative and enterprising solutions to community issues. Working with schools, community groups and organisations, we develop often ground breaking programmes in our own local Kidderminster communities, whilst supporting neighbourhoods and communities across the whole of the UK.

Please also take a few minutes to take a look below at the ‘Connecting’ Social Enterprises that we have developed as a result of our work. We look forward to connecting with you soon…because creativity really is just connecting things!
